Zero Sum
A poetic triptych on economic consequence
Skyscraper windows mock shocked expressions Suspended midair. Inside Plunging graphs glow and glare.
Rainbow rivers run with dead fish, people Crowding about the bleeding Pipes, sirens’ chords sustained.
Polyethylene palls veil vacant kin. Geriatric children stare At the bones of their home.

The last one in particular struck me. The picture is simple and direct, and man do I love the word polyethylene. It’s so lovely. Been meaning to weasel it into a work for a while
really powerful stuff here. great work, my friend.
